

Founder Charisse Simonian grew up in Michigan, and attended Ferris State University where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Television Production. Shortly after graduation, she moved to Los Angeles and began working in non-fiction television. With an eye for a good story, experience producing, writing, story producing, and story editing, she made her way into casting. In 2006, she won an Emmy Award for her work casting families on "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition." She's since cast the sharks for "Shark Tank", and has extensive experience casting real people, hosts, and experts for many successful shows.
Charisse takes pride in hiring amazing casting producers and team members with extensive credits of their own. Charisse is a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
Big Fish Casting is based out of Los Angeles, but casts worldwide.
